Our Team

Sheila J.  (known to the all the kids as She She)

Sheila is retired from the federal government, and is a master knitter and baker and everyone's go-to gal.  She's pretty good at pulling pranks, too!  She says she has the best family and friends and is blessed with three beautiful grandsons. Her words of advice, "at the end of the day, just be kind”. 

Sharon B.

Sharon is our "change it up specialist" and master mannequin dresser!  Retired from many years as a sales rep, she says she's blessed with a wonderful husband, two fabulous daughters, and amazing friends. She loves to read, and bake and her newest hobby is knitting.  She also love to get outdoors as a regular walker and travels to the many different beaches around Cape Breton.  Sharon's advice "be grateful".

Catherine M.

Catherine is our baby on staff :) and Sheila and Sharon's unofficially adopted grand-daughter.  Cat is from from Sydney mines and is  entering her final year of Psychology at Cape Breton University. She enjoys walking and baking and spending time with friends, family, and her dog, Rylee.

Rob D.

Rob is an EO partner and our OCD team member (regularly monitoring store recycling and if everyone is following the rules! lol!).  He loves keeping our gear wall and footwear fully stocked and ready.  Outside of EO, Rob likes to get outdoors hiking, hunting and fishing.  He's also a history buff and antique car enthusiast.

Paul F.

Paul is an EO partner and our Mr. Fix-it.  If we need something done, "Call Paul".  He specializes in merchandising and display in store, and ordering.  When not working, he is a long distance swimmer and hiker.  His favorite place to be in spring/summer is in his garden with a shovel in hand.  

Sherry F.

Sherry is a founding partner and does a little bit of everything around EO.  The rest of the team go along with her ideas, mostly to humor her!  Sherry gets outdoors hiking, running, and gardening.  She loves to silversmith on the side and spend time with family and friends. 

Daniel Y.

When not at the hockey rink, or on the skill hill, Daniel can often be found hiking a trail, or riding his mountain bike somewhere near Ingonish.  Daniel is pursuing his carpentry trade and can be found at EO or volunteering as a hockey couch when not in school.   He's our gear guy, helping local adventurists with their pack, footwear and equipment needs.
