OUR PROMISE TO YOU
Very often a business reflects the values and personality of its owners and team. That's our goal at EO. We are an independent, family owned business and we firmly believe in the philosophy of working hard, doing good and caring for the environment. As well, it's equally important that we foster a workplace of mutual respect, and most certainly, as little stress as possible and some fun! We model the same behavior in our interactions with you, our customers. Here is our promise and what we stand for. By the way, that's George, our shop dog. He's especially customer service focused and is our best greeter :)
Quality Comes First
At EO quality comes first and we're learning more and more that our quality brands are also very often environmentally focused. And, that's important to us. We don't do a "hard sell" at EO because we really don't have to. Our brands speak for themselves.
Customer Service Focused
Professional and friendly service is the gold standard. We aim to greet everyone with a smile and offer our help. We may not have answers to all your questions, but we promise to try and find them.
Oh, we also like it if you just stop by to say, hi, because we consider our customers our friends, too!
Some of our work that has been recognized...
2017 - Patagonia Conservation Grant Recipient for Bee Friendly garden project
2017 - Rising Star Award - Chamber of Commerce
2016- NS Heart & Stroke Walkability Award
2014- Best Active & Healthy Living Award - Chamber of Commerce
We provide opportunities to learn and play at EO. Whether it's a Big Foot Snowshoe Meetup, a free Patagonia Film screening, a Try Archery Night or a travel talk from a community member, we really dig coming up with ideas to get people together to learn and fuel their outdoor passions.
Increasingly, we’re seeing many of our brands making a step in the right direction toward a sustainable mandate, but a few of our clothing brands stand out from the others; they are Patagonia, Prana, and Toad & Co.
We promise to continue to monitor our own eco-footprint, as well as that of our brand partners.
We believe it is the responsibility of a business to support the community that supports it. Since day one of opening our doors, we have worked very hard to give back in many ways. We are proud to have spearheaded lots initiatives and partnered with community groups on others. Check out our blog for some of these stories.
